This route heads into West Tanpit Woods, and explores a lot of the surrounding footpaths around Lower Failand, just outside Bristol. The woods will be muddy after periods of wet weather, and some of the fields may be holding cattle. For this route, we parked in a lay by right at the end of the by way on Sandy Lane, BS8 3SN. There are loads of footpaths round here to explore if you want to venture off our route, which is just under 5 miles.
