Whilst you won’t find a castle at Castle Neroche these days, it makes for an amazing walk with the dogosaur!! There are so many routes round here to try. Our route is just under 8 miles and will take 2.5-3 hours to walk. It follows through a lot of different nature reserves and commons, so a chance to see a variety of scenery along the way. The majority is woodland, however there are sections through farmers fields as well, one of which was holding sheep when we walked in October. There may be cattle in other sections at certain times of the year. There is a large free car park in Chard, the postcode is TA20 3JZ.
