This is a lovely route starting from a free car park off Deerleap in Wells (BA5 3AY). This is a beautiful area of the country, with some wonderful views and picturesque landscape, which passes through the rural town of Priddy, and back across by ways and footpaths. A lot of the farmland around here has livestock so please take care when walking through these fields. Our route only passed through one sheep field (in April), but there may be other livestock in some of the fields at different times of the year. There are also a couple of short stretches of walking along quiet country roads.
All in all this is a lovely route, with plenty of options to extend the route as there are tonnes of public rights of way around here. We will be back for some more exploring soon!
